The Zombie Plan was designed and built during the pandemic... because you never know what's going to happen! Now that things have settled down, we think we can afford to have her out of sight.
Our favorite part of the Zombie Plan, by far, is the kitchen in the back! We've optimized all of the space below the bed with huge pull-out drawers. One for the cooler and pantry and the second for cooking and cleaning. It even has a pump sink system so that you don't have to drag your dishes to the bathhouse!
She's custom-built for our 3 person family, 2 adults and 1 10-year-old boy. The third bed could potentially fit an adult, but it would get close.
Plenty of storage under the third bed or in-between the drawers for clothes and gear. What's includedThe kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking, eating and cleaning.
Linens included
Level jacks in case you're parked on a slant.Optionally included (or leave it out for extra storage space)
Pop-up tent for over the kitchen
3 camp chairs
Folding tableDelivery and pickup within a 50mi radius available upon request (for an extra charge)RecommendationsWe love camping at Shenandoah National Park! There are plenty of campgrounds along Skyline Drive. They book up quickly, but if you roll in on a Friday afternoon you can usually find a first-come/first-serve sight. The right site in the "old campground" at Big Meadows has awesome views and you can chit-chat with hikers on the AT right from your campground. Other things to noteThis whole van is a loving DIY project so it has its' little quirks. Please be gentle with her.
Be careful with the sink in the pullout drawer and ensure it is locked down before you push the draw back in.We recommend you strap the drawers in before driving. Not only will that help keep the drawers in good working order for the life of the van, but it'll also reduce annoying rattles! No smoking
