If you return a dirty van or one with an empty gas tank, we do charge a fee and the cost of filling up the tank. There is a self wash station 2 blocks from the van depot and a gas station 2 blocks away, so please remember to refill and clean if the van is excessively dirty. There is no smoking inside the van and no illegal usage of the van of any kind.We know that dogs are a crucial addition to the Van Life and we welcome you to bring along your furry friends. The fee for dog(s) is $75 to cover the time it takes for us to do additional vacuuming and cleanup after your stay so those who have allergies or sensitivities can also feel comfortable renting our vans.We encourage off roading and wild camping, but we expect that you abide by all laws in place around locations that are permissible to camp in vehicles. If a BLM site is marked as closed, DO NOT camp there. We are lucky enough to have a great deal of free wild camping nearby in Colorado and if you break the rules, you risk ruining it for everyone else as well. We also warn you to evaluate the safety of non-paved roads before driving too far - the van has decent clearance, but any damage for driving over excessively rough rocky, and unpaved roads or rivers will be your responsibility. Damage will be assessed at the end of the rental. Please abide by Leave No Trace policies when it comes to wild or campsite camping - pack out garbage and bury any human waste 10 inches under ground and more than 200 feet from a body of water. If you are brining along a dog on your trip, please clean up after them as well. Use biodegradable soap for cleaning dishes or yourself and make sure to dispose grey water in legal places to do so.You are more than welcome to get on the roof of our vans if they have roof decks, please no more than 3 people on the roof at one time and DO NOT step on the solar panels (they will break and we will have to charge for the replacements of them). Our car keys come with airtags on them - loss of keys will incur both a charge for the replacement of the key and airtag plus a fee for the lockout and a milage reimbursement if we have to drive more to come find you.Lastly, we have a pick up time of 3:00 onward and a drop off time by 10am. If you need an early pickup or later drop off, please request this upon booking and we do our best to accommodate if possible, however any drop offs after or pick ups before 12:00 will have a $50 fee for the extra rental time.

Meet your host, Paige

Member since 2022

hi! I'm Paige, formerly @littlebusbigadventure. I lived full-time in my school bus Elsa for a year and then decided I needed to find a way to help others explore and enjoy the lifestyle while I settle down in Denver with my 4 legged bestie Dumpling. Some of the best memories I have are getting to explore Utah in the bus and getting off the grid in Arkansas.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We prefer pickup times between the hours of 7am and 7pm and in daylight (so earlier in the winter) - if you need a later or early pickup a small fee will be assessed and you waive your abilities to participate damage evaluation or pre rental evaluation due to lack of daylight.

Q.How can I figure out what to do and where to go?
A.
We have a VAN LIFE GUIDE that is provided to all renters after confirmation of a reservation that will give you all the information we suggest on successfully operating the van and tips or tricks to finding the best campsites in the area :)
