2016 Mercedes Sprinter
Explore all the amazing gems Arizona has to offer! This Mercedes Sprinter camper is a great getaway vehicle. It has everything you'll need to make your getaway complete. Spend the day exploring nature or maybe decide to drive through some funky towns. Whatever your destination, this Sprinter van can get you there. Equipped with 4-wheel drive and new snow tires so it can handle bumpy terrain, but also blends right in with city driving and is super easy to drive. It fits in a standard parking spot which makes stops and grabbing groceries easy. The inside has a high roof, so someone 6'2" can stand without bumping their head. The bench folds into a full size bed and includes a Tempur-pedic mattress topper and clean cozy bedding. There are also blackout shades for each of the windows to give you 100% privacy and darkness. The fridge is big enough to be stocked up with your favorite meals. There is an electric stove top with an extension cord that can handle all your cooking needs.This rig comfortably sleeps 2 adults in the full size bed. There is a blow up mattress designed to fit in the front area so a 3rd person/child can sleep there. Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Our van is available for pickup at our residence in Central Phoenix. This location is a quick Uber from Sky Harbor International Airport.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
-This van does NOT fit in drive-thru's or parking garages.
-Because of the length of the wheelbase you can't take turns as tight as you would a normal car.
-While this van is easy to drive there is a learning curve. Understanding how to use your "fish-eye" side mirrors will assist you quite a bit as there are no rear side windows. The van does have rear facing windows.
Q.Where do we sleep?
A.
The bench seat in the rear of the vehicle folds into a 6' long bed. How to operate this will be gone over at pickup.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
-We have found that not having a robust plumbing system inside the van makes it easier to use.
-The electrical system is basic and provides power to the fridge, ceiling lights and fan. There is an outlet for cooking meals outside the van. Extension cord and cooktop provided.
