15 ft. long
Pet friendly
2011 Ford Transit
The perfect, nimble sleeper van for festivals, group camping, short road trips. With a 6’x4’ platform, a person or two can sleep very comfortably and also drive comfortably. Enjoy the sweet custom wood shelving in the window wells, above-head storage, and an incredible amount of under-bed storage! This van’s build-out is very basic: no water, kitchen, bathroom, solar, etc. Just a comfy drive & a comfy sleep, great for camping/gatherings/festivals.This 2011 Transit Connect has an incredibly petite footprint: it turns, drives, parks, and fits just like a smaller car, but the storage & sleeping feels like you’re in a much bigger vehicle! Driving is easy & comfortable. Automatic locks & windows work great.Ideal for a single person or a couple. If you’re taller than 5’11”, you won’t find the platform to be ideal, but as a 5’6” woman, it’s like sleeping in a double bed. Dark tinted windows for privacy. The van comes with a key fob, roof rack w/ stackers, step-stool for access, and full bedding. Back windows open on both sides of you want some air but not open doors. Want to sleep with the doors open? I made screen doors to keep the bugs out!Awesome feature: the 12V plugs work even when the engine is off! Charge your phone overnight, etc, without turning on the van.Sadly, the AUX jack has stopped working. What's included-With or without 4” foam mattress & fresh bedding— your choice!
-sewn-in LED fairy lights for night time
-custom screen doors (attach easily with magnets) for fresh air flow through when sleeping
-roof rack w/ stackers
-step-stool for roof access
-leveling blocks & a bubble level for comfortable sleeping
-need a pop-up? I can include one! Need a cooler, camp chair, etc? Just let me know!RecommendationsLove this van for festival camping & group field camping.Other things to noteIt doesn’t go very fast uphill, especially when loaded down with weight. Drive slow, drive safely! Inner driver-side door handle can be a little wiggly— tap it closed when you get in. Transit vans don’t keep out road noise, so don’t expect a silent ride. AUX jack is currently not working. Can handle light off-road conditions (gravel roads, very shallow stream crossings) but nothing too intense. Has two wheel drive.
