RecommendationsWe've taken this van all over the western US, through 19 National Parks, 16 states and we can confirm that this van makes a great mobile living space. It provides a comfortable place to shower, cook, and sleep after hiking/backpacking. Fanny also gets excellent gas mileage and is extremely comfortable driving and navigating to your destination. We’ve used it for epic snowboard trips, surfing the coast, and driven it across the country. Whatever you want to do, it's more fun in our van Fanny!Other things to noteVan rules:
- No smoking inside the van.
- Open the window or a door when cooking for ventilation.
- When the van is in motion, fans must be off & closed, propane must be shut off plus disconnected, and the inverter should be powered off. Top drawer must be locked (always check!)
- If any issue arises, please contact us before attempting to fix the problem. We built the van and know every inch of it.
During the rental, the customer is responsible for:
- Ensuring fluids are properly maintained

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The shower drain sits slightly horizontal on the floor so we recommend parking with the front of the van slightly more elevated than the back to ensure proper drainage. It only needs a very minimal slope such as 1 degree to drain effectively.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
This vehicle does not have standard RV hookups, it was built as an off-grid conversion. The water tank must be filled manually and typically lasts 3-4 days depending on use. Grey-water can be hosed out of the grey water tank at any dump station. Blackwater has to be manually emptied and cleaned at a dump station. In terms of electrical hookups, we only offer an extension cord that can be used inside the van to heat water, AC fans, and heaters.

Q.Can we take your van Skiing/Boarding?
A.
Yes! We highly encourage you to take our van up into the snow. Our rig handles very well in snow and can provide a cozy base for your ski/board adventures. It's not all rainbows though, winter camping means things are a little different. We highly recommend a hookup site to supply power to heat water and the living space consistently. This prevents pipes and the toilet from freezing, but it can and might happen during extreme cold. That's vanlife though!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are pretty flexible currently and can arrange to pickup/drop off at almost all hours of the day. The more warning the better, but we will work with you to find a time that works best! We are flexible with pickups/drop-offs between Seattle and Vancouver BC because we have family in both places. Please contact us to arrange your trip, additional charges may apply.
