We charge because we keep our equipment it good working condition and perform maintenance/weld inspection before and after each rental.Generator Adapters: We have proper generator adapters available to rent for non-RV generator outlets.Generator Rental: Our generator is available to rent as an optional upgrade when booking. If you chose to rent our generator, it can be ran 24 hours a day for a standard rate.It has an RV TT-30R outlet (30amp RV outlet specific). It also has a remote start fob (will be attached to keys) and we plan on providing you with a full tank of fuel. This generator is pretty quiet, but its not as quiet as a Honda inverter. It's dual fuel which runs on gasoline or propane. 3500 running Watt is enough to run one A/C unit and the microwave. But it is always smart to turn of the A/C before utilizing other appliances when using a generator. To run two A/C comfortably you will need a 6500 running watt with at 50amp 240/120 volt outlet. Our requirements:1) Bring it back 98% full. (Do not top off 100%) Check the fuel level and when its fully red its pretty full.2) Please check the oil level the next day, and each day. It will be filled to the operating level, but it can burn off some oil depending on weather conditions.3) Make sure the generator is not next to anything, it requires 6' of space on all sides to run correctly and safely.Have lots of fun!

Meet your host, Ina

Member since 2021

My husband and I recently purchased Stardust because we love the outdoors and it's hard to vacation with two dogs. We love to visit lakes with our dogs and spend the evening in front of the camp fire. You'll find the trailer is very roomy and easy to tow. My husband has a lot of experience towing large trailers, so please feel free to reach out with any questions you have, he will be more than happy to assist.
Quick reminder; if you are not able to tow our trailer, we will be more than happy to deliver it to you and all you have to do is show up and have fun!

Q.Can I dry camp with this trailer?
A.
You definitely can, but you will need a generator. Dry camping will require a generator to run about 20 hrs of the day. Fully charged batteries will give you about 4 hours or less. Depending on what you are running in the trailer. Fridge, phone charging and a light will reduce your charge and kill your batteries faster. Please remember to rent a generator. 1 Ac requires 3250 running watts. 2 Ac's require 6500 running watts.

Q.How much is a fair price for a generator rental?
A.
About $3 an hour. You can rent a generator for cheaper, but you will have to deal will heavy, loud and not fully compatible generators from home depot/ united rentals. I charge roughly $3.50 an hour for generator, and if you're dry camping you will be using it for almost 24 hours a day to keep that ac going and fridge ice cold. Again, convenience is key, our generator is remote start, good on gas/ propane for back up, and quiet with the correct RV outlet. TT-30R 120v outlet.

Q.If dry camping, will 51 gallons of fresh water be enough?
A.
It really depends on how many people are staying with you and how many nights out you are. A full fresh water tank should be enough, if you keep your showers to military style (quick rinse/lather up with no running water) and keep your water usage low. If anything, you can always take down the trailer and go fill up at the closest fresh water fill up location.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
First, ask a friend or friendly camper to spot you when backing in. Don't unhook yet, make sure your power cord, dump hose and water hose reach their connections. You may need to pull forward, or back up to adjust and reach your connections. Next, grab your level and open your main trailer door. Run the level side to side, use RV lego pads to adjust your height. Then level front to back, this is where you will need to chalk your trailer and use your tongue jack to level. The rest is easy.
