RecommendationsNote: The fully charged Goal Zero should last a long (3-4 day) weekend under normal use. The 11.6 gal tank is great for having hot water to wash dishes. It should last a long (3 day) weekend if you are mindful of your water usage. We suggest using the on demand hot water for dishes and the extra 6 gal water jug for drinking water, tea and coffee. Other things to noteWe are new to renting out the Happy Camper on Outdoorsy. We are open to you bringing your dog, tailgating, and enjoying that music festival. Please be kind to our baby. If it gets abused we will need to limit these experiences. So don't be that guy to ruin it.Lastly, if you are thinking of getting a Colorado Teardrop and want to try one before buying one then this is the rig for you. We have almost all the Colorado Teardrop amenities and have dialed it is because we use it too.

We are river people. That means we often travel down rough canyon roads to get to a put-in point, and that's why we bought a Colorado Teardrop because we need something tough, reliable and high clearance to get into the most remote places. We searched far and wide for a travel trailer that would take us there and keep the camping OUTSIDE, mostly, except we get to sleep off the ground with hard side protection from weather and critters, but still gaze at the stars through the sun roof! We love to take our Happy Camper to Moab, the Grand Canyon and all the desert canyons and arroyos in the southwest region spring and fall. Summer season we head for high country, down national forest roads where most people wouldn't dare but we can't resist a remote ridge line with a steller mountain view. The point of getting out there is to GET OUT THERE, right? The toys we bring with us depend on the season but mountain bikes, skis, hiking gear, paddleboards and a phat cat raft make up our standard equipment list. We live in Fort Collins, Colorado where we own and operate Happy Lucky's Teahouse to Nourish Your Happy (happyluckys.com). We play as much as running a small business will allow. We have two college age children, Grady and Shanti, who grew up doing all the cool Colorado things, a black cat named Meko and a rescue dog named Kachina who loves to go camping!

We had a fantastic experience on our trip. We would definitely recommend this camper for anyone needing a teardrop. The camper is in great like-new condition, and it is easy to operate. The hosts were great, and the pre-trip walkthrough of the camper set-up and operation was very complete and thorough.

Kari and George were wonderful to work with during the rental process. I really appreciated them taking the time to go through the trailer and explain how to set up everything. It was a fun experience! The only complaint I had was receiving a text message from Outdoorsy at 4:00a asking how the trip was going..
