Dave is friendly, the RV was clean, and we had everything we needed.

December 20205

Dave was prompt, informative, and very helpful at each interaction including initial registration, verification, introduction, test drive, and return of vehicle; Dave went the extra mile and returned to me a personal item that left in vehicle and notified me immediately. The RV functionality was first rate!

Dave’s answer

hey thanks for the very kind review. We decided to keep the campervan & renting it since it rents well & buy a separate rv for personal use. thanks for being a perfect renter!

October 20205

This was our first time in an RV. Loved it! Dave made everything easy with good explanations. Everything was just as described and absolutely clean. We were on the move driving cross country so we didn’t really get to enjoy the RV experience of being at a camp, having a campfire, and cooking out. But Dave’s van provided the opportunity for us to travel in our own bubble!

what a great van! but dave made the experience above & beyond... he is a wealth of information & he has set up his rig to almost run itself. couldn't have asked for a better first run with a class b & have made a friend in him. get yourself in this travato! you won't be disappointed! :)

This was a perfect introduction into the RVing world for us. The RV was exactly as described and Dave seemed to sincerely enjoy sharing it with us.

Dave has thought of it all! Wonderfully equipped van ready for any type of adventure. This van is perfect for 2 and quite easy to drive. Along with your pillows, pack a warm blanket if you’re going anywhere chilly. Otherwise, the Travato has everything you need. Dave is very responsive and available. Highly recommend.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.Can I use the awning?
A.
Yes when it is still or only a slight breeze. Do not fully extend the awning since it is not as stable then.

Q.How can I keep the water lines and tanks from freezing in very cold weather?
A.
Use the tank heater. Tank heaters require power so you will need to be either driving, plugged in or generator running. FREEZING TEMPS REQUIRE TANK HEATER TO BE ON TO PREVENT FREEZING DAMAGE when in 40's F or below. (remember the windshield factor when in 40's can be like low 30's with strong wind or driving) Thank you for helping us protect the RV so "Herbert" is enjoyable for all. (freeze damage repair is VERY expensive & paid by renter)

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Normal campground procedure is: 1. hook up electric, water (& sewer-note that places with sewer hookup is for dumping black tank when full or leaving. DO NOT keep open all the time) 2. extend stabilizer jacks 3. extend slide (motor must be running with hand brake fully on) 4. Enjoy!

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
You can download the RVMaster app from the app store on your phone, use Bluetooth & control everything from your phone such as lights, water pump (if boon docking), AC & heat temp, awning, slide, etc. Note there is an owners manual for the control panel if you click on the gear in upper right of screen & then scroll down.
