Our 17ft Casita Standard Deluxe is in immaculate condition and is thoroughly kept up and clean.Inside, there are two tables that convert to beds to sleep 3 adults comfortably. We will leave the tables set up unless you request the main bed/or the smaller secondary bed to be made. The cushions from the seats convert to the beds. We do have a soft top mattress we can put into the main bed if you request. This option would not allow for the bed to be converted into a table as we would take the cushions for the table out before your trip.Stay cool and comfortable during the hot summer months with AC (requires plugging into a 120v outlet or generator). A propane furnace with a simple thermostat will keep you warm if the nights get cool. A 12v air vent can be run without being plugged into a 120v outlet. The camper has 9 lights inside to keep things lit when it’s dark. Two lights are outdoors. We have an awning with a large outdoor rug and lights to allow for a fun vibe.Indoor & outdoor showers will help make the outdoorsy experience feel fresh with hot water. A flushable toilet is in the shower area. The camper has 25 gallon fresh water (can be filled prior to your trip, but recommend you filling when you get to your site to reduce the weight 25gal of water is 200lb) the 15 gallon black water & 32 gallon gray must dump & flush before returning. You can have us empty for you for a fee. What's includedThis camper is fully stocked for your outdoor adventure. It comes with everything you need. The kitchen with a refrigerator, sink, and gas stove top allows for all your cooking needs. Pots, pans, utensils, plates, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, French press coffee maker, and more are in the cupboards and drawers. It includes Pottery Barn bedding, linens, pillows, and a comforter for comfortable lounging and sleeping. Bath towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc… are all included. A hammock, two camping chairs, a small outdoor, gas stove for cooking outside are available for free.RecommendationsWe would recommend for you to make reservations at campground with electric hookups and dump stations far in advance to make the most out of the electric amenities of @MinneVacation. Minnesota State Park campgrounds are reservable on a rolling 4month availablity. National Forest Campgrounds can be great options for last minute trips where there is first come first served campgrounds, although these campgrounds often lack electricity and dump stations. You can rent out our generator for campgrounds like these.Other things to note1. 3 night minimum rental or longer only
2. No bumpy dirt roads as this can damage rivets
3. No smoking inside
4. Do not tow over 70mph for safety purposes
5. Vehicle with GVWR at or over 3500lbs with hitch receiver REQUIRED. The of 2500lbs is the dry weight of the camper, so more weight is added with the contents. If you are going into the mountains so we recommend a vehicle with at least GVWR of 5000 and AWD.
6. No climbing on top of the Casita.
7. Well behaved pets are okay, but must be attended at all times. They can not be left alone in the camper.
8. A brake controller should be used for your safety and to prevent extra wear on your vehicle’s brakes. I have a Curt brand wireless controller available for a $25 charge to rent in case you don’t have one installed on your vehicle. You will need to download an app to your smart phone for this option (instructions to be sent near your book date).

Hi! Thanks for checking out our page! Our names are Allie and Chase we are avid runners who love to travel and camp. We both compete in endurance events and often times camp near the race start to save time and often time expenses. We decided to buy a camper in 2021 as we welcomed a baby into our lives and were looking for some slower camping travel life and to make things easier for us when we're on the go. We don't use the camper all of the time, so we were looking to share out our camper when we're not using it. We spent a lot of time researching lightweight campers and have a perspective on most fiberglass brands. We ultimately went with the Casita because of the full fiberglass body and the 17ft it provides all while being under our Hybrid's 3500lb towing capacity. If you have questions or want to learn more about our trailer, please feel free to reach out to learn more!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
If the listing is booked out more than 1 month in advanced, we are highly likely to able to accommodate your schedule and the exact time when you need to pick up the trailer. Dropping off can be flexible as you can leave the trailer at our place if scheduling does not work out. Please feel free to reach out to talk through arrival/departure times prior to booking.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
We can meet at a park as a pickup location to allow for a chance to learn how to back a trailer up. We are happy to spend time making sure that you feel comfortable backing up. We will have a handout on how to back up if you need to reference while on your trip.

Q.What kind of trailer connection is needed so that my car's brake lights are linked to the Casita's?
A.
The Casita has a 7-pin standard connection. If your car has a 4-pin connection, we have a converter to allow brake lights, blinkers, etc to be connected. This 4-pin option will keep the trailer street-legal, but it will take away from the brake controller capability from being used (so that the trailer brakes when you brake). You'll need to travel slower if you use the 4-pin to allow for ample time to brake.
