RecommendationsThere are many amazing destinations throughout Florida and neighboring states. I personally recommend staying at State and National parks since those allow you to be closer to nature. The RV is perfect for a beach getaway to the keys. It can also be taken to the Ocala National Forrest and the Orlando area. If a longer trip is an option then St Augustine and Georgia/Carolinas are highly recommended!Other things to noteRenter is responsible for returning the rv in the same condition it was received. This means it should be clean and with empty holding tanks. There is a pet fee which you can select in the add-ons section for one small dog or cat up to 25 lbs. If there is any evidence a pet was in the RV and the add-on was not chosen, it will be automatically taken from the deposit. Pet is not allowed in indoor shower since RV septic systems are very sensitive. Pet owner is responsible for any damages.Starlink satellite internet is optional. Most locations are available now, but check their coverage maps before ordering. As far as damages, losses, or excessive cleaning fees, it will be charged at cost against the deposit. For example, if you lose an item.. lets say a rubber pad, I will try to find the same one or similar and I will send you the link to the product so you can see the price and description. You verify and then its deducted from your deposit.

Meet your host, Alex

Hey I'm Alex! I work in tech and love to get back to nature whenever I can. I own a 22 foot Airstream which I list on Outdoorsy. I truly enjoy sharing the ins and outs of the hobby and helping people set off on their own journeys. When they come back, they're just recharged and happier. Many have said it's been life changing. I think that's pretty cool!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Fairly flexible, it can be picked up or dropped off in Miami as well.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
This will all be explained in detail in the demo. As an overview it works like this: If boon docking you don't need to hook up at all. At some parks they only have water and electric and you connect a water hose and an electrical cable. If there is full hookup (meaning electric, water, and sewer), you connect the sewer hose and you open the gray tank line but leave the black line closed. Once the black tank is starting to fill, go outside and open the black line. Repeat the process.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
This is a thoughtfully designed machine, everything is fairly easy. You simply make slightly wider turns and you can go almost anywhere. The only area where there is a small level of challenge is in backing up a trailer, because you're supposed to turn the wheel the opposite direction you normally would. To fix this place your hand at the bottom of the wheel and turn toward the direction you want the trailer to go (left or right). Or you can just get a pull through site :)
