Janis is a 2013 Tioga DSL with many premium features. There is a full-size bed with a brand new mattress, the dinette folds into a twin bed, and overhead there's an easy to store full-size bed with ladder access. The kitchen is fully equipped with a three-burner gas stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and all the dishes, utensils, spices, basic staples, and all the cookware one would need. There's also a kettle to boil water and a French press.Janis is air-conditioned, has forced-air heat, a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Hot water at all taps and even an outdoor shower. She has two TV's and a DVD player that works on both sets. Amazon Firestick is included on the main TV.The 3600 watt LPG generator will help you get that coffee made in the morning and keep the lights on when you need them.Janis is one fun-to-drive and easy-going motorhome. A very responsive and efficient Mercedes diesel powers the 25' Sprinter chassis down the highway, over mountain passes and along the shores of your favorite waterfront destination. A touchscreen Pioneer stereo with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth in the cockpit helps pass the miles away.Janis has to be picked up in Polson where I live. I cannot deliver to an airport.I am located equal distance between the airport in Missoula (MSO) and the airport in Kalispell (FCA). Missoula is a larger city and may offer better rates for rental cars or Uber/Lyft if you need to get to Polson that way. I will help out with transportation if possible, but I work fulltime and help may be limited to advice.Free parking is available for your vehicle at my home if needed.
What's includedIncluded:Portabe propane barbeque and small propane tanks

Paper plates and plastic cups
2x Yeti 14-oz. mugs

Dish rack
DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)

RecommendationsBoondocking on Homstake Pass. It's free and it's where we go when the wildfire smoke moves in. At 6,329 feet, you can get blue skies and fresh air. When leveling Janis, if you need to adjust more than three inches, try parking with the front end downhill, and there will be enough leveling blocks. You need to put them under both rear tires (duallies) for stability, so it uses more blocks.
Other things to noteLGBTQ Friendly! No tobacco smoking inside the RV or cab. Please use caution on unpaved roads and uneven ground. Janis is not a 4x4.The awning must be rolled up in inclement weather, such as high winds, heavy precipitation, etc.I highly recommend driving the Truck Speed Limits. Janis will go 80 mph on I-90, but she's a lot more relaxed at 65. Plus you will lose mpg going over 70.Top off DEF (provided) about every 500 miles or every other fuel-up.Waste tanks must be emptied before return. A $75.00 fee will apply if not emptied.Fuel tank must be topped off before return. A refuel charge of $50 plust the cost of fuel will be applied if it is not full.Propane tank(s) must be refilled before return. A refill charge of $50 plus the cost of propage will be applied if not refilled. The water tank does not have to be refilled upon return.

Meet your host, Tim

I am a former Marine and an Operations Manager of a local manufacturing company. I have been camping all my life (moslty in tents) and now I have the opportunity to share my RV with others. I do travel with "Janis" for work-related conventions and manage to just get out and relax now and then. It's good to recharge!

Wow! What a great experience we had with Janis. We booked a last minute camping trip, and needed an RV pretty quickly. Tim worked with us on pickup and drop off times without hesitation. He was quick to respond to all of my messages, and made sure we felt comfortable with all aspects of driving the RV. Janis was easy to navigate, and drove perfectly. Kids haven’t stopped talking about this trip since we got home a few hours ago. Safe to say everyone had a great time! We will definitely be renting again.

Incredible experience! Tim, the host, was great to work with, very informative during check-in and outfitted the RV with everything you could need for your trip. The towels were super fluffy, linens were comfortable and clean, and he even stocked the fridge with some local goodies and topped off the ice trays. He went above and beyond. Would definitely rent from him again. Could not ask for a better vehicle to celebrate our honeymoon in. Janice was quite a lady ;)

Tim couldn’t have been a better host! He was very accommodating with our requests. Every detail about the operation of the RV was explained in a binder. He had Janice outfitted extremely well. He didn’t forget a thing! He had condiments, spices, tea and coffee and more! He even had some special welcome treats in the refrigerator. We were very pleased with our RV rental experience and with the owner, Tim.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Send me a message with your specific needs and I will see if I can help you out!

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Slow down and take your time! Janis is six tons of fun, but a relaxed pace keeps everything in place. Remember there's a long overhang from the rear axel to the rear bumper. Take corners carefully and wide.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
This is all explained in detail and with pictures in the book, "Me and Bobby McGee: a guide to Janis."
