Other things to noteThe propane tank hangs low on the underside of the vehicle and will hit the ground. Therefore:
No Off-roading
No fire-track roads.
No climbing on the roof - it's fragile and most crack with too much weight and are very expensive to replace.
Please be prepared to regularly check the coolant and oil - I'll walk you through that. It's great if you are somewhat mechanically inclined and willing to figure out problems if and when they arise. It's regularly serviced and maintained, but it’s not new, and has had a few owners and a few modifications during its lifetime. It's over 20 years old, so please understand that hiccups may and do happen.Cruise control does not work.

8ft Nano Ten-toes Inflatable Stand-Up Paddle Board
This is pretty thin and agile as SUPs go, not too great for long distances but fun in the surf or playing by the beach. The Nano is for smaller adventurers starting out. Its eight-foot length and rounded hull make it easier to control and require less exertion to paddle. the Nano was designed with smaller adults in mind and is generally more simple to maneuver than longer boards.

Nick was great to work with. Van had everything we needed for our weekend family trip to the coast. The inclusion of the electric refrigerator was great. Would definitely book again.

We had a great trip along the California coast in Nick's van. The van was well equipped. We were 4 adults. Two of us slept in the van and two in the tent we had brought. While 4 adults can sleep in the van, we were glad we brought the tent as it is otherwise rather tight (one night we all slept in the van when we were in a location where no tents we allowed, allegedly due to mountain lions). Drop off at the airport made the end of our trip convenient.

We just returned home from a fabulous 16 day trip exploring Yosemite, Sequoia and King’s Canyon, the coastal highway (HWY 1) up to Humbolt Redwoods state park and back to San Fransisco. Nick’s van and his ease of the entire Outdoorsy process made our trip perfect! We are a family of 4 and the kids (age 5 and 7) loved their ‘home on wheels’. The van ran very well and we had no concerns. My husband had experience driving a van before which was helpful for all of the windy, up and down roads. This trip left us wanting to buy our own VW Eurobus! Thanks Nick for your support prior to the trip and communication along the way. It was a trip if a lifetime.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.How is mileage calculated?
A.
(Your mileage - # nights x mileage per night ) x $0.35/mile For example: A two night booking, traveling 350 miles. (350-2x150 miles/night) = 50 miles over the included limit. Additional charge = 50 miles x 0.35 = $17.50

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I try to be as flexible as possible, if the van is available in the morning and the timing works for both of us we can plan for an early pick up. A late pick up can also be planned for in advance. Please add the "Early Pick Up" $50 add-on and "Late Drop off" $50 add-on.

Q.Do I need Outdoorsy Insurance and Roadside Assistance?
A.
Yes. See Outdoorsy FAQs on this matter.
