His full name is Forest River Georgetown, but we call him "Forrest." The ideal rig for any adventure, this easy to drive Class A Georgetown 378 has all the amenities you need. It’s roomy with tons of storage for all your gear. At a camp with full hookups it has all the comforts of home, including two air conditioning units, central heat, and dual mode electric/propane fridge. If boondocking is your thing, this rig is fully self contained with large clear, black and gray tanks, two cabin batteries, and a built in 50 amp gasoline generator.Probably the most important important thing when traveling is a good night’s sleep. There’s a walk around queen bed in the back bedroom. The couch converts futon style to a full bed, and the dinette converts to a twin bed. With three different slideouts to expand the living area, there’s ample floor space for a cot or additional sleeping bags.I don’t know about you, but when I was a kid Grampa never let use the bathroom in the trailer. That’s not the case here. The spacious bathroom boasts a full size, easy to use shower and a large, comfortable individual toilet compartment. The back bedroom with queen bed has a 32” TV and large closets. With cushy captain’s chairs up front, this RV is comfortable and easy to operate, with cruise control, lane monitoring cameras, and new tires. , There is also an outdoor shower. The kitchen includes a large (for an RV) two door refrigerator/freezer, three burner propane stove, and microwave oven that operates on shore or generator power only,We’ve enjoyed having this rig, and we hope you’ll enjoy it too. We spent a lot of time remodeling and installing custom furniture to make the experience the best it can be. Handoff for a rental engagement includes a full briefing on the operation of the RV, and a complete guide is included to help you use its facilities to their fullest.

RecommendationsYou will be picking up this rig in the Salt Lake City area. Favorite destinations include:
- Yellowstone National Park: 5.5 hours to Old Faithful; very popular must see destination with geysers, mud pots, spectacular hot pools, and tons of wildlife viewing options. Watch out for Bison rush hour. Notable attractions nearby: Tetons National Park, West Yellowstone MT, Jackson Hole WY.
- Great Basin National Park: 3.5 hours to Upper Lehman campground. This lesser known national park is less developed but less crowded. Enjoy beautiful mountains and forests in central Nevada. Check ahead, many campgrounds in this area are first come first served.
- Moab, UT: Canyonlands/Arches 4 hours. Gateway to all sorts of adventure, Moab is day tripping distance to three national parks and world famous slick rock biking trails.
- Locally, there must be a hundred campgrounds within a couple hours of Salt Lake. The Cottonwood Canyons, Big and Little, boast a dozen sites each, not to mention nearby Park City, Deer Valley, and quaint little alpine Midway with its Wasatch Mountain State Park. An hour past that takes you to the High Uintah Mountains. Go a little farther and visit Flaming Gorge and Dinosaur National Monument.
- Las Vegas is 6 hours away. Why would I rent an RV in Utah and drive six hours to Vegas, you ask? The answer is Bryce and Zion National Parks, numerous state and local parks and reserves, the Virgin River Gorge, St. George UT. Mesquite NV offers several Las Vegas style resorts with casinos, world class golfing, and a laid back, small town vibe.
There are a bewildering array of other camping options available from here including the National Forest, the Wasatch mountains, the Uintah, Western Colorado, and several urban KOAs. It's less than six hours to half a dozen national park and Utah offers free camping and boondocking on some of the most extensive public lands in the US.
Check accessibility to BLM or other remote sites as this is a BIG RIG!
The key to a smooth trip is research. Make sure to do your homework and know before you go. Most of all, make sure Forrest will fit where you want to take him. We're happy to answer any destination questions you may have.
Other things to noteThe price to rent reflects the quality of the motorhome that you will be renting. We ask a premium price because we want our RV to be respected by families looking to have an adventure. RV will be thoroughly inspected and all functions explained with renters, so expect a lengthy discussion before departing and when returning.
The roof is off limits. There is no reason for you to go up there as the ladder is for maintenance purposes only. We check the roof after every use.
No smoking or vaping inside the RV. Besides, go outside and enjoy the view while you get your smoke on. I am very sensitive to lingering smells and I will notice.Clean as you go. We have provided plenty of supplies and it will save you time when exchange time rolls around. We will launder all linens upon your return. Place dirty, DRY!, towels and sheets in hamper in back bedroom. There are beds for up to 5 sleepers. There are seat belts for 5 passengers, however if you have additional guests traveling separately, there is floor space for additional cots or sleeping bags. We can provide some camping gear and camp furniture to assist. See Add-ons for details.
