Leroy is a Sprinter conversion for folks that just want the basics, and don't need every bell and whistle when they go camping. I'm not a company, just a rock climber/bird lover with a van who wants to see it get used instead of sit in the driveway while I'm busy working. Gets 21mpg!About the Van:
Short wheel base (140") for easy driving/parking
Full size bed (54" x 75") with fresh sheets, 2 pillows, and comforter
Lots of cabinets and drawers for storage
Solar/battery powered fridge
Electric pump stainless sink w/ 7 gal. capacity
Ceiling fan w/ variable speed for ventilation
Insulated w/ rigid foam board behind wood panneling
2 burner coleman stove (comes with 1lb can of propane)
Blackout sunshades to keep the cab cool
Usb/aux/bluetooth stereo
Dimmable warm led lighting
Kitchen essentials including bowls, cups, mugs, silverwear, cooking wear, knives, pans, pots, can/wine/bottle opener, dish soap & dish towels, sponges
Fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detector
Gets 21 MPG
What's includedComes with 2 water guns and a beach umbrella. Boogie boards available for additional charge.RecommendationsLoads of beautiful destinations close by including:
Saguaro National Park
Climbing on Mt. Lemmon or Cochise stronghold
Buenos Aires Wildlife Refuge
Bisbee
Mt. Graham
Chiricahua National Monument
Sedona
Other things to noteNo smoking
Pets are fine for a $50 fee
Everything in this van is 12V, so if you can't plug it into a usb port or a cigarette lighter, you can't charge it.
Pick up and drop off are flexible. Let me know what time works for you and we'll work something out.
Music festivals are okay, but please don’t take Leroy to Burning Man.

I love getting out of town and into the mountains to go rock climbing, backpacking, and bird watching. Van camping allows me to do that for longer. There's so much to see in the American Southwest!

Van suited my needs well and was perfect for some chilly nights! Ian was great with answering all questions in advance of the trip and very accommodating throughout the entire reservation, pickup and return process.

We had a great time and Ian was a delight to work with. The van came fully equipped with dishes, stove, fridge, bedding and camp chairs which made the trip super enjoyable. The van was easy to drive with plenty of power to get up into the nearby forests. It was slightly annoying to stand to wash dishes since we're both tall people and the ceiling height is low but that's pretty minor all in all. Sitting in bed is very comfortable especially with the back doors open to take in the views. Highly recommend. I would rent again.
