Meet your host, Kevin

Hello! I am Kevin and together with my wife Darlene and our 5 children, we are very passionate about camping and the RV lifestyle. I grew up around campers from the time I was born into a camping family with my 5 brothers and sisters. As a kid, we had a pop-up camper and then graduated to a 1986 28-foot Citation bunkhouse that we took on a cross country journey throughout the USA. I eventually took ownership of that unit and set it up at a seasonal campground in southern Vermont before I met my (now) wife and got married. We sold that unit and purchased a used Rockwood ultra-lite for the two of us to explore New England with. When we started having kids, we sold that camper and moved up to a 30-foot Starcraft bunkhouse which we quickly outgrew so we sold that and purchased our current unit, a 34-foot quad bunk Palomina Puma with a large slide-out. I have been in the automotive repair industry since graduating from Howell Cheney Regional Vocational Technical high school way back in 1994. I find real joy in assisting others getting their vehicles repaired. I have a real affinity for helping fellow campers when the need arises. I have been in and around the mechanical systems of these units for as long as I can remember, and I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with anyone who is willing to learn. The RV/camping lifestyle has for us been such an awesome journey. Our children have enjoyed many opportunities of being able to sleep in their own beds and wake up to the mountainous beauty in places like the Adirondacks, the Green Mountains of Vermont and the White mountains of New Hampshire. We have ventured through West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. We have met the best people in the world while camping and to this day have maintained friendships that were formed at campgrounds years ago. We recently had the opportunity to purchase a 2018 Rockwood Mini lite from friends who only used it a few times since purchasing it new. We are excited to be a part of your next (or first) camping experience and can't wait for lasting memories to be made using our camper!
