Meet your host, Rick & Linda

Member since 2022

My wife and I enjoyed tent camping with our five kids on the shores of Lake Michigan when they were young, it was always the highlight of our summer. We graduated to a pop-up, then five years ago we renovated a 1969 Holiday Rambler, we loved it so we have done 2 more vintage Holiday Ramblers, Madelin and Ella. We are planning to add to our fleet in the future. We want to make it easy for other couples to enjoy camping in northern Michigan without the hassle of towing and setting up a trailer. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking and the Traverse City area is truly a paradise for you to enjoy.

Rick and Linda were so kind and thoughtful, and the camper itself was beautifully restored to what appeared to be it’s original interior.

We were excited to have our camping experience at Interlochen State Park.
Madelin was show stopper all around. Comfy and cozy.

Rick and Linda Smith were friendly, helpful, responsive. They set the rv up for me and gave me a tour. I stayed at Timberridge Resort the entire time. ‘Madelin’ is cozy, completely furnished, clean, and had some homey little extra touches that make you feel like a guest. The awning and chairs and table were wonderful refuge from the. Rain.
