Come explore the unique and beautiful Joshua Tree National park with Matilda, our capable little Shasta. She’s as light as they come and her owners are seasoned park explorers that can help you find the perfect campsite for your adventures!What's includedMatilda sleeps 3. The queen bed sleeps two and the dinette converts to sleep a child or an adult under 5’6”. Basic cookware, plates, bowls, cups and cutlery are included. We provide fresh linens, pillows, and an extra blanket for those chili campfire nights. Matilda comes with two camping chairs and a small camp table. A battery operated cooler is provided for the kitchen as well as the propane stove. Matilda has a 10 gallon fresh water tank for all your essential scrubbing. Matilda does not have a bathroom, but we can provide a small portable toilet on request. RecommendationsJoshua tree is a magical place to explore, but finding a campsite can be tricky. We offer standard setup at the reservable sites at Indian Cove, Black Rock, Cottonwood, Jumbo Rocks, and Ryan campgrounds. All delivery and setup within the park is charged at a standard $40. This includes delivery to campsite, setup, and retrieval.Matilda is also available for rental at our base camp located just outside Joshua Tree National Park. Please contact me for further details regarding stationary rental. Other things to noteMatilda is a true western gal. She’s as vintage as they come and proud of it. We take real good care of her so she can take care of you. Please treat her with respect and love, just like we do.

We are a family of 6 including our two mini-aussies, Reef and Cruz. Recently, we traveled the United States in our camper exploring many national parks, rock climbing, hiking, and engaging in general tom-foolery. We have a passion for the outdoors and for camper supported adventures. We are offering RIC, our camper, for rental so others may partake in these pursuits. We are very experienced RV campers and RIC is very road worthy and battle tested. If you're in the market for a camper, take a test trip and benefit from the years of knowledge and experience we have to offer. Host was responsive and helpful with suggestions. The trailer is quaint and has a homey old school rustic appeal. It was perfect to give us a bit of shelter from the desert in the wintertime. It made the camping experience a total joy.
