2021 Escapade Backcountry
Meet Magnus! He is light enough (1550 lbs) to be towed by most mountain-worthy vehicles, tough enough to get you to places others can’t. His rugged off-road tires make him look burly, but he isn’t made for extreme off-roading or rock crawling. This adventurer has a seamless, insulated fiberglass exterior and Timbren Axle-less suspension. He loves dispersed camping, boondocking, or overlanding and will deliver you to breathtaking views you won’t have to share.
Sleeping
Comfortably accommodates 2 (plus a small child) inside, with a 6" memory foam queen mattress that folds into a couch with plenty of headroom to read. The awning enclosure will fit another 2.
Storage
This little rig is compact but has plenty of room for your gear inside, in the awning enclosure, or under 2 awnings. One 270 batwing awning also provides cover from the rain or sun while relaxing in the great outdoors.
Galley
Plenty of space to store pantry items, cooking supplies, and extra gear.
Towing
Vehicle must have a towing capacity for 2000 lbs trailer.
Tongue weight = 210 lbs
Must have 4 or 7-pin trailer connector

*Shoes off before entering the awning enclosure or camper. A plastic bin will be provided to put shoes in, keeping them safe from critters.
*All drivers need to be verified through Outdoorsy before pick up.
*The trailer does not have a built-in heater so you should be prepared if traveling during cold weather. The cabin is well insulated, however, if it is extremely cold outside, the temperature will drop inside.
*Before departure, please ensure all doors are locked, the fan is down, the hitch is attached correctly, and the brake lights are connected and working properly.
*Be sure to leave at least one window slightly open while sleeping otherwise condensation will accumulate in the cabin.
*Festivals are allowed upon prior approval.
*The trailer will be clean when you pick it up. Please return it in the same condition. If the rig is returned in an excessively dirty or smelly condition, an additional cleaning fee will be accessed.Rules
*Smoking/Drugs Policy:
No smoking (of ANY kind) or drug use is allowed in our trailer. Any indications of smoking or drug use will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
*Pets:
No fee for Pre-Approved pets. Any damage will result in the cost of any pet damage plus a $250 fee being deducted from your security deposit.
*Tickets, Tolls, and Tows Policy:
The renter is responsible for any tickets, tolls, tows, or impounds.
*No stepping or climbing on the roof.
*This is a moderately capable off-road camper, However, if you are not experienced driving off-road and don't have experience towing and maneuvering trailers or you do not know the trail you are taking... do not take him off-road.Fees:
*Refundable Security deposit $750
*Lost key fee is $50.Discounts:

Kandee was super friendly and helpful and show us how to set everything up and take it down. She provided just about everything we needed. The camper itself was comfortable and the perfect size for our family. It was easy to tow with my vehicle. I will be renting from Kandee again.

This was my first time renting a trailer like this. Everything was just as advertised, very clean and very organized! The owner was very friendly and very flexible with last minute logistics. The trailer was easy to pull and maneuver and setup was a breeze after some excellent instruction at pick-up. I thought I would put up my own air mattress on top of the bed provided but I didn't need to it was so comfortable. It was a great experience and I can't wait to do it again!

Kandee was very accommodating to meet me even though they were traveling, and explanations on how to set up and use the trailer were very thorough. We had to cobble together a 4-pin to 7-pin adapter, and they were great at getting it set up. Magnus was very comfy and easy to tow, the attached tent was spacious and easy to set up, and the additional camping gear was well organized and labeled. Overall fantastic experience!
