Lightweight and rugged, Cricket is the perfect blend of sophisticated design and purpose that’s towable by many four-cylinder engines. With sleeping room for two adults and two children. Taxa’s Nasa-inspired design and integrated plumbing and electrical systems prepare you for excitement wherever the journey takes you. This lightweight camper has been a perfect addition to our family. With two young kids in tow, simplicity, safety, and comfort are top of mind for us. And the Cricket delivers on all of these. We tow it with our 4cyl Subaru Outback and it handles amazingly on highways as well as rugged forest roads. The two large AGM batteries will keep the fridge cold and lights on for days without a recharge. When you're ready to move to a different spot just drop the top and go, it's that simple. I'm 6'3", so having a rig that I could stand fully in was a high priority. With over 6'5" of standing room, I have no problem moving about without the fear of hitting my head with every step. The incredibly solid construction of the Cricket will surely be evident, and the abundant interior and exterior attachment points make it easy to secure your gear. The Cricket requires a 2in ball hitch and a 7-pin round wiring connector (see photos). We have an adjustable height ball hitch if you would like, and your vehicle will require a 2in hitch receiver to use it. What's includedRecently installed Propex furnace keeps you nice and warm even in the winter!Other things to noteThis trailer requires a 2in ball hitch. I have an adjustable-height ball hitch you can borrow, and it requires a 2in hitch receiver. You will also need to have a 7-pin connector on your vehicle, with the battery wire attached. The battery wire is required to charge the trailer batteries AND to power the wireless brake controller.

We're a young family who loves to get out for an adventure. We were drawn to the PNW by the beauty of the landscape and like to hike, ski, bike, kayak, and backpack as much as we can.

Fantastic lil trailer, we took it to Vancouver Island, and camped along the way, it was great to have the roof over our heads when it rained, and it was super cozy for a family of four to sleep inside

Ted was great to work with and took the time to explain everything in detail. We had a great time in the Cricket; it kept us dry over a weekend of heavy rain. The kids loved sleeping in the top bunks. Thanks again.

Ted’s answer

Thank you Jeremy, I’m glad the kids enjoyed their trip!

The cricket was a perfect little camper for exploring Eastern Oregon. I had never towed anything before, but the cricket is small and light-weight so you barely know it’s behind you.

Ted’s answer

Thanks Adam, I’m glad you had a great time!
